APG DISTINCTIONS

Association of Photographers of Georgia (APG) Distinctions and Title!

Association of Photographers of Georgia announces a system of getting APG distinctions and APG highest title – Honorary Fellowship APG.

The distinctions and a title are open for application when an applicant has met the rules and conditions.
If the application of the applicant has not met the rules and conditions, it is given a 3-months time to reapply without any additional charge.
The distinctions system’s aim is to reward the participants from the photo contests, organized by the Association of Photographers of Georgia (APG), also photo contests, conducted under APG patronages.
If the International salon/exhibition/circuit is conducted under more than one of the International recognitions (FIAP, GPU, PSA), the acceptances are to be considered as from one International recognition.
The distinctions offered are: Artist, Excellence, Recognized and Grand Master. The APG title is Honorary Fellowship APG. The holders of the APG distinctions receive a downloadable certificate via email, as well as a printed certificate, a badge with a label and ID card with his distinction and photo by post.

Who is eligible:
Any amateur and professional photo-lovers from all over the world who regularly participate in the International photo-contests conducted under APG, FIAP, GPU, and PSA patronages, can apply for APG distinctions ( In this respect a Circuit is to be considered as a single salon).

TERMS
The applications for distinctions and title are accepted anytime. With the application form the applicant also must send his/her passport photo for ID card to email: internationalphotosalons@gmail.com

APG patronages
The distinctions are granted for the acceptances obtained at all editions from the salons and exhibitions conducted by or under APG patronages:

Distinctions
The distinctions are open for application when an applicant has met the rules and conditions as described below:

ARTIST - AAPG
An applicant, who had accumulated a total of 10 acceptances from all salons and exhibitions, organized by or under APG patronages and a total of 50 acceptances FROM FIAP, GPU, PSA, is eligible to apply for the Artist Distinction – AAPG.
When the AAPG distinction is awarded, an applicant will receive a downloadable certificate via email, as well as a printed certificate, a badge with a green label and ID card with his distinction and photo by post.
Authors who have received the distinction can use the acronym letters after their name.

EXCELLENCE - EAPG
Applicant must be the holder of the AAPG distinction.
An applicant, who had accumulated a total of 20 acceptances from all salons and exhibitions, organized by or under APG patronages and a total of 80 acceptances FROM FIAP, GPU, PSA, is eligible to apply for the Excellence Distinction EAPG.
When the EAPG distinction is awarded, An Entrant will receive a downloadable certificate via email, as well as a printed certificate, a badge with a blue label and ID card with his distinction and photo by post.
Applicants who have received the distinction can use the acronym letters after their name.

Recognized - RAPG
Applicant must be the holder of the EAPG distinction.
An applicant, who had accumulated a total of 40 acceptances from all contests organized by or under APG patronage and a total of 100 acceptances FROM FIAP, GPU, PSA, is eligible to apply for the Recognized Distinction - RAPG.
When the RAPG distinction is awarded, the applicant will receive a downloadable certificate via email, as well as a printed certificate, a badge with a red label and ID card with his distinction and photo by post.
Applicants who have received the distinction can use the acronym letters after their name.

GRANDMASTER - GMAPG
Applicant must be the holder of the RAPG distinction.
An applicant who had accumulated a total of 60 acceptances from all contests organized or under APG Patronages and a total of 120 acceptances FROM FIAP, GPU, PSA, is eligible to apply for the Grand Master Distinction - GMAPG
When the GMAPG distinction is awarded, the applicant will receive a downloadable certificate via email, as well as a printed certificate, a badge with a yellow label and ID card with his distinction and photo by post.
Applicants who have received the distinction can use the acronym letters after their name.

The Highest APG Title
HONORARY FELLOW- Hon.FAPG
Honorary - Hon.FAPG is the highest honorary title of the Association of Photographers of Georgia
Is granted to the personalities who long-term (no less than during 3 months) support, promote and help salons and exhibitions under APG Patronage License, usually participate salons and exhibitions under APG patronages, attract other participants and club members, share APG salons and exhibitions on the web recourses, get APG patronage license for their salons and exhibitions and have an intensive international activity, promoting and supporting photographic art around the world!
When the HON.FAPG title is awarded, An Entrant will receive a downloadable certificate via email, as well as a printed certificate, a badge with a dark blue label and ID card with his title and photo by post.
applicant who have received the distinction can use the acronym letters after their name.
For Hon.FAPG title the applicant can apply separately. He must have at least one of the abovementioned APG distinctions.
An applicant can apply for one the distinctions and Hon.FAPG in the same.

FEES and COSTS
The cost per APG distinction is 29€ each level (AAPG, EAPG, RAPG, GMAPG), plus 12€ for postage. It must be paid before submitting the application form. If an applicant applies for some levels together (must own previous distinction), he/she can pay 29€ for each level and +12€ (For example, AAPG, EAPG - 29€+29€+12€=70€)
The cost per APG title (Hon.FAPG) is 35€, plus 12€ for postage. It must be paid before submitting the application form.
